DONT BE FOOLED BY OLD HABITS-CREATE NEW ONES-NEW YEAR-NEW YOU

DONT BE FOOLED BY OLD HABITS-CREATE NEW ONES-NEW YEAR-NEW YOU

So it's that time again, new me, new year resolutions, blah blah ......... But do we mean it. ?  We all have this ideology that if we start a healthier new version of us or a fitter me that we've stepped into January with a clean slate.  For actually considering a new approach to new year that's fantastic I applaud you but I challenge you have you put a strategy in place?.  Do you have any resources to keep you accountable or on track? New year habits usually fade off after about 3 weeks but if having put a structured plan in place we can stick to these goals and embody them into our daily lives.

So what new habits can we create? I have compiled a list of positive ideas we can challenge ourselves.   We can go to bed earlier?,  less time in the scroll hole of social media with less procrastination, less bed time snacking or alcohol.  We can change our diets to promote more exercise and wellbeing.  We can also look at waking up earlier or time blocking better throughout the day to free some self care time.  Pier pressure is a big factor when it comes to work place habits around food and negative behaviours so having clear boundaries in place could be a new habit.  Learn to say no for them after work drinks and regular coffees and cakes or reduce damage limitations with healthier options.

Relationships and friendships, are you in a viscous cycle of bad habits as a couple? Can two friends break the cycle of old habits?  Do not be a sheep and follow the crowd, if you want to start a habit go grab it and run with it.

The benefits for habit change can lead you to a more fulfilling life, be more creative and form new relationships,  new habits can improve current relationships.  Improving confidence and cognitive function to be more productive.  Creating new fitness habits will offer long term health benefits including lowering BP,  glucose stabilisation, lower back pain, less brain fog, better sleep, better mobilisation, fat loss, bone strength and muscle growth, improved mood.
